FUNDAMENTALS OF DIGITAL IMAGE PROCESSING – one week course

St. Xavier’s Technical Institute, Mahim, Mumbai 400 016…is all set to conduct a ONE WEEKMSBTE SPONSORED Faculty Development Programme on FUNDAMENTALS OF DIGITAL IMAGE PROCESSING from 23rd to 27th January, 2017.

Regarding the scope of this one week course, one may confidently and assertively iterate that the scope of digital image processing in the world of high technology exists in all the branches of Engineering. Thus, this subject encompasses and meets the requirements in all the fields of engineering today. This demands for continuous new developments and advancements in methods that are related to image digitization, acquisition, enhancement, manipulation, compression, segmentation, transmission and reception using digital image processing techniques. Thus being a universal requirement in all branches of engineering, knowledge and implementation of digital image processing is a must.
